Miyazu Crowdfunding — Benefactor Tier

Your contribution to the production of “At Miyazu”. As a thank-you: your name as benefactor in the book, three copies of the first edition, porcelain mug and T-shirt, two large cliché prints, 70 × 50 cm, on fine art paper, both of Dominique Uldry’s garden of the Mikami house in Miyazu and signed and numbered by hand by the photographer, and a conversation with the editors about the project, in Zurich or online. Limited to ten places.

The first contribution in this tier also receives the two original volumes from the journey, both published by Paul Cassirer in Berlin and designed and illustrated by Karl Walser: Bernhard Kellermann, “Ein Spaziergang in Japan”, 1912 edition (first edition 1910), half leather with Japanese decorated paper and gilt top edge, and “Sassa yo Yassa. Japanische Tänze”, third edition 1920 (first edition 1911), with coloured frontispiece and eleven plates after studies by Karl Walser.

The amount is a contribution to the production of the book, not its price. The gifts are sent once payment has been received; the book follows after publication in spring 2027, the year of Karl Walser’s 150th birthday. Shipping is included (import charges, where applicable, are not).
